Aelindra Voss
The Ashen Blade
Backstory
Born beneath the ancient boughs of the Twelveswood, Aelindra spent her youth among the Wailers before a bitter falling-out with the Gridanian hierarchy sent her down a lonelier road. She has wandered the realm for decades, taking contracts where she finds them and asking few questions of those who hire her.
Personality
Aelindra is measured and deliberate — slow to trust, slower to forgive. She speaks plainly and dislikes ceremony, though those who earn her loyalty find it ironclad. A dry wit surfaces in quieter moments, hinting at a warmer soul buried beneath years of solitude.
Lore Notes
She carries a blade of unusual make — dark metal that does not reflect light, etched with glyphs no scholar has been able to identify. She claims it was payment for a job she refuses to describe.
RP Hooks
Threads that may draw others into this character's story.
- She is known in certain taverns as someone who can find things — or people — that others cannot.
- The glyphs on her blade match markings found in an ancient ruin recently uncovered near Gridania.
- She owes a debt to someone she has not seen in forty years, and that person has just resurfaced.
